(Senior) C++ Software Engineer

As a C++ Software Developer you will be an integral part of a development team working on diverse services and libraries. Our products leverage the power of C++ when performance is essential, alongside web-based technologies such as HTML5, React, gRPC, and REST APIs.

In this position you will:

  • Implement features in C++ by making use of the latest C++20 standard
  • Participate in defining the software architecture, especially on coding level
  • Develop software using continuous integration on GitHub
  • Interface, and program with other technologies such as Go, C#, JavaScript & TypeScript, React, gRPC, and REST APIs

Additionally, as a valued team member, you will:

  • Deepen your knowledge in software development in the area of medical products
  • Make a difference by contributing to the healthcare system for the benefit of patients

The products developed at Snke OS are manifold: From end user applications with an HTML5 React frontend to services and micro-services using latest web-technologies. These components form the foundation of our innovative Snke OS Healthcare Platform. The platform serves multiple medical applications, not only within Snke OS, but also for other vendors.

  • Passion for software development
  • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent working experience
  • Several years of C++ software development experience
  • Familiarity with other programming languages like Go, Rust, C#, JavaScript, Python (preferred)
  • Familiarity with rendering engines (preferred)
  • Knowledge in state-of-the-art web technologies like HTTP, REST, JSON, gRPC, Protobuf, and micro-services
  • Analytical mindset and creative problem solving skills
  • Well-organized and clearly structured, agile working style
  • Very good communication skills in English
