Senior Buyer

As the Senior Buyer you will be responsible for ensuring the regional revenue, stock and margin goals are achieved.  

You will own and drive the Omni channel buying strategy for the business, ensuring the business is consistently powered with ‘hot product’, sourcing strategically across regions and the supplier base to ensure best price is achieved and bottom-line margin is protected.

You will be responsible for driving aggressive growth across the department, whilst maintaining BAU with as little friction as possible in an ever-changing landscape. You must be innovative, and entrepreneurial, consistently delivering new ideas, problem-solving and resolve focussed to compliment growth.

You must demonstrate strong analytical skills; confidently reviewing sales and stock data on a regular basis in order to gain a sound and understanding of product performance. You must be confident in using this knowledge to lead the regional buying strategy, communicating insight with the rest of the team in order to identify focus tasks for the month / week. 

You will manage junior members in the Buying team, leading from the front, ensuring all BAU tasks and new processes are managed end to end, with you as the best practice point of contact. You will lead the team on a daily basis- ensuring all members consistently have the tools and framework to be able to meet/exceed their KPI’s. 

You will drive and communicate any business-critical communication that needs to happen across the business. You must be a confident communicator, ensuring product vision is clear in order to support other departments in the business.

  • Keen interest in Luxury Fashion  
  • Very strong knowledge of brands and current trends 
  • Commercial awareness including pricing knowledge of luxury goods
  • Strong communication and organisation skills
  • Confident in leading a team and working with other key stakeholders in the business to drive a department
