Join Axon and be a Force for Good.

At Axon, we’re on a mission to Protect Life. We’re explorers, pursuing society’s most critical safety and justice issues with our ecosystem of devices and cloud software. Like our products, we work better together. We connect with candor and care, seeking out diverse perspectives from our customers, communities and each other.

Life at Axon is fast-paced, challenging and meaningful. Here, you’ll take ownership and drive real change. Constantly grow as you work hard for a mission that matters at a company where you matter.

Our mission is to protect life

We’re out to make the world a safer place by solving big problems and taking on the public safety challenges of our time. From our company's inception building the TASER device to a full suite of hardware and software solutions, we are focused on providing Public Safety customers with the state-of-the-art devices and services they need to successfully serve and protect our communities. In the next few years, we're going to eliminate the burden of paperwork in policing, so officers can increase the time they spend building relationships and serving in their communities. We’ll put video at the heart of the police record so our justice system can get to the truth faster. And we won't stop innovating until the bullet is rendered obsolete.

It’s a big mission, but it’s one we’ll pursue relentlessly every single day.

Your Impact

The Axon VR team deployed a revolutionary and “game-changing” solution of hands-on training for Police Officers pairing Virtual Reality, Axon Products, and replica officer duty equipment. This groundbreaking technology MUST get into the hands of public safety organizations worldwide. For that, we need you. You will be the critical link between our product and the officers in the field! You are the direct drive of our product into the market and tackling key challenges with managing key operational challenges for new product launch and in-market products.

As the Sr. Business Operations Manager for Axon VR, you will have responsibility for planning and managing the operational rhythm of our business. Your role will involve building processes to support VR growth across all markets, and establishing a monthly “operations review” to enable effective and streamlined communication across the organization. You will oversee a group of interrelated initiatives and teams, aligning expectations, resources, and goals to ensure that cross-functional teams are making progress towards desired outcomes.

As the VR organization transitions from a small start-up to a mature growth organization, your focus will be on driving operational excellence. You’ll ensure we have the right data for informed decisions, both quantitative and qualitative data from the right sources, processes that allow us to scale with minimal churn and customer impact, and structures that simplify our overall operations. This role has a primary focus on pre-sales functions.

Additionally, you will drive strategic initiatives that improve customer adoption and our overall “ease-of-doing-business” such as enabling agencies to train with TASER 10 in VR before receiving their duty TASER 10 CEWs, leading our hardware refresh strategy to keep agencies up-to-date with evolving VR technology, and collaborating across the Axon organization on new systems to streamline quoting and SKU creation processes. The VR team is constantly building new hardware that continues to enhance the value our VR training bring to public safety. As this new hardware is released, you will work with internal teams to define the operational GTM strategy, which includes partnering with Sales to define the allocation process and priority.

A successful candidate will have experience in an analytics-driven environment, be proficient with analytical tools (such as PowerBI, Tableau, Salesforce CRMA, or Excel), and demonstrate strong attention to detail with a clear sense of ownership in their work. You should be capable of communicating complex concepts clearly and using nuanced data to support your findings and recommendations. This candidate should be analytical, collaborative, skilled in driving accurate and actionable forecasting for our VR product portfolio, and adept at taking cross-functional projects from concept to execution. This role requires strong collaboration skills, working with Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce Operations, Product Management, and Supply Chain Operations to align on key business objectives.
