(Senior) Business Intelligence Analyst

We are looking for a (Senior) Business Intelligence Analyst to join our Business Intelligence and Information Management team in Helsinki. You will be joining a growing team turning data into insights for the whole of RELEX, supporting our rapid growth across the globe. This is a temporary position for a parental leave substitution until 1st March 2026. 

As a BI Analyst, you will collaborate with our entire organization to ensure that core business initiatives are supported by high-quality data. Your contributions are integral to building capabilities to produce accurate and timely business decisions by supporting self-service data use. You will actively develop our ways of working, both within our central BI team as well as the collaboration with and between internal business stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Collaborating with various business functions to discover data and reporting needs
  • Creating and implementing solution designs to internal stakeholders’ business requirements
  • Supporting community BI developers in the design, implementation maintenance and optimization of dashboards and reports
  • Furthering the adoption of self-service and best practices around BI
  • Actively participating in team development activities, e.g. internal ways of working and governance, staying up-to-date with latest BI technologies and trends

What you’ll bring to the table:

  • Suitable education, e.g. master’s degree in Engineering or Business
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in BI
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proactivity and ability to work independently
  • Excellent skills with PowerBI (or similar tools), data modeling and SQL
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Fluent communication skills in English

What we consider as an advantage:

  • Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring
  • Experience in producing supporting materials for different stakeholders
  • Experience with dbt and git, data warehousing
  • Experience in one or more programming languages
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, GCP, AWS, Snowflake)
  • Certifications in relevant BI tools and methodologies
