Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (M/W/D)

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO CAN:

  • Working closely with many stakeholders such as AVIV executive team, Axel Springer, Finance, B2B Marketing, Commercial and Segment Managers, Go to Market Team understand their needs and provide reporting solutions that fulfil their expectations.
  • Support business leaders in identifying the right KPIs to drive business performance.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  • Assist in the development of business strategies by providing data-driven insights and forecasts.
  • Lead BI projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
  • Taking over ad-hoc analysis, reportings and visualizations for all AVIV brands.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to inform business stakeholders.
  • Advise and support the AVIV data engineers team in implementing the business logics in the process of data transformation.
  • Be the spokesperson for the main internal and external stakeholders.
  • Promote a datafy culture among the company.

AN INDIVIDUAL WHO HAS: 

  • You have significant experience in the data analytics field 
  • You have an advanced analytical mindset and experience uncovering data insights to form hypothesis, evaluating results and making recommendation
  • You have proven experience in the project management, being able to prioritize and guide others on data and business objectives
  • You have analytics skills and have experience on the following aspects:
    • Business Intelligence: solid professional experience in the field of data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics engineering
    • Data Warehousing and Data Modeling: skilled in creating and optimizing data models, collaborating seamlessly with data engineers to align with business needs
    • Relational databases: expertise in working with relational databases (e.g. MS SQL Server)
    • AWS Athena familiarity: expertise in working with AWS Athena, including the ability to efficiently query large datasets stored in S3 using SQL. Experience with Glue would be highly beneficial
    • Advanced knowledge of SQL: proficient in utilizing advanced SQL techniques for comprehensive data analysis
    • Dashboarding (Advanced knowledge of Tableau): skilled in creating interactive and visually appealing dashboards using Tableau for effective data presentation
    • Python proficiency: an additional advantage is proficiency in Python for data analytics, enhancing the ability to automate processes and perform advanced analyses
  • You possess a keen attention to detail, ensuring the accuracy and precision of data analysis and reporting
  • You are solution-oriented and able to take initiative independently
  • Ability to communicate effectively with international cross functional teams (fluency in English is required, French and German would be beneficial)
