The Pan-European and Global Client team manage Visa’s strategic partnerships with key clients. As a Senior Manager and a key member of the account team, you will lead several important initiatives that contribute to delivering mutual growth with a key global partner that has presence across several markets, geographies, encompassing both acquiring and B2B issuing. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and within the client’s organization, working in collaboration to deliver successful outcomes. Working in a high performing team, you will identify new opportunities to help expand our joint business across core payments, value added services and new flows, including leading the B2B card issuing sales and joint value proposition activities.
The Senior Manager will also work closely with various internal and external stakeholders from a range of functions including product, sales marketing, and operations, to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of the client and their customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Based in Europe, your role will involve working closely with client HQ teams and Visa internal teams across different functions such as product, operations, and commercial. Your goal will be to drive the success of daily projects that help to accelerate growth. You will monitor the progress of key initiatives and support the global account director, for both Global and pan-EU initiatives across acquiring and issuing.
- As a strategic partner, you'll also proactively support the growth of our joint B2B issuing business. You'll oversee the progress of key initiatives, working together across functions to ensure optimal support and delivery, and act as the main contact for all issuing-related matters.
- You'll build stronger collaboration with client country teams and Visa internal teams to support positive outcomes locally. At the same time, you'll ensure that the global account strategy, planning, and priorities are well communicated and executed at a local level.
- Working with operations and compliance teams both externally and internally, you will make sure that operational support and priorities are consistent with account priorities, acting as the voice for the business. Data analytics and project management will be essential parts of your role, along with tracking all joint initiatives to show the value of Visa to the client.
- Keeping up with the latest industry trends and identifying new business opportunities will be an important part of your role. You will participate in external Quarterly Global Client Business Reviews and assist internal Functional & Market Leads Calls, ensuring progress, strategic alignment, and key dependencies.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
- Experienced and have a passion for payments, especially B2B payments and issuing, are essential.
- High integrity, excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills, and proficiency in English are required.
- Education required: bachelor’s degree or a master's degree or MBA is a plus.
- Focus on mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and Visa, and possess strong commercial, analytical, and financial acumen.
- Excellent communication skills are crucial, along with the ability to work in a matrix environment and manage complex strategic initiatives within cross- functional teams.
- A strong project delivery record is key, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving attitude.
