We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team in the food manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Producing and delivering high-quality, structured, fully tested solutions on time, and following business requirements and IT standards.
- Understanding system functionality and communicating system capabilities to the business.
- Collaborating with the business to create detailed use cases, process flows, prototyping, and test cases and scenarios to implement quality solutions.
- Managing, creating, and executing test cases and scenarios.
- Analyzes the feasibility of the requirements for a new custom-built system in a cost vs value; ensures the system design fits the needs of the business.
- Acts as a liaison between business end-users and IT development teams. Ensures end-user training and assists with troubleshooting issues.
- Consultant on analysis, design, configuration, testing, and maintenance to ensure optimal operational performance.
- Assist the project team in defining project scope, goals, approach, and deliverables supporting the business objectives in an agile fashion.
- Work with designers and developers to address product defects and enhancements to their solutions Strategic
- Ensures focus is on the highest value and speed of delivery of functionality to enable the business to leverage and create collaboration to prioritize effectively.
- Initiate, lead, and implement opportunities to improve business processes and systems.
- Previous 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst working on information technology projects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in requirement-gathering techniques, process modeling, and documentation.
- Experience interacting with cross-functional groups to support consensus outcomes/decisions.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies and software development lifecycle.
- Knowledge of relevant tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques.
