We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our project team as consultant. Your main tasks will include work with developers/architects and perform detailed requirements analysis, documenting processes, review the process with business and digital teams. To succeed in this role, you should have a technical background and understand technical terminology and be able to write user stories for the development team and non-technical users.

The American memorabilia manufacturer is primarily known for producing yearbooks and class rings for high schools and colleges. The company also produced photobook products for Disney’s PhotoPass photography service at theme parks and resorts. In addition to its headquarters near Minneapolis and operational offices in Owatonna, Minnesota, the customer has facilities throughout the United States.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field
- Advanced technical skills
- Understand Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Expertise in retail and or e-commerce is highly recommended
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Ability to work with multiple teams and collect requirements
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, JIRA, and Confluence
- Background in retail and or e-commerce platforms
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Availability for shifted work till 7 pm to CET on a daily basis

Responsibilities
- Work closely with the IT & business to document the project’s business requirements and support efforts
- Study system capabilities and write specifications
- Construct workflow charts, diagrams, and user stories; study system capabilities; write specifications
- Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications
- Define project technical requirements and identify project milestones, phases, and elements
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members
- Collaborate & work with the offshore team
- Develop, design, and prepare effective test plans and cases to perform various types of testing based on requirements and functionalities
- Translate Functional, Technical, Conversion, and Performance requirement specifications into high-level test cases/plans
- Analyzes gaps in requirements and solution capabilities and assesses proposed solutions to close gaps
- Understanding of application-to-application interfaces, such as XML and REST API
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
- Staying up-to-date on the latest processes and IT advancements to migrate into the new system
- Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings
