ROLE OVERVIEW: 

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with a strong data background to drive strategic business transformations and system optimization. This role is crucial for driving data migration and system demise projects, collaborating across cross-functional teams, and delivering effective solutions within a financial services context.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and user data requirements, transforming them into actionable data solutions.
• Collaborate with IT, operations, and compliance teams to design and implement system changes.
• Drive process re-engineering and optimization initiatives, leveraging analytical thinking to solve complex problems.
• Provide training and ongoing support to user groups for new processes and systems.
• Manage requirements documentation and ensure alignment with Agile project methodologies.

KEY SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong expertise in Business Analysis, particularly in Data Migration/System Demise projects
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proven experience in process optimization and problem-solving
• Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and basic SQL knowledge (preferred)
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and result-driven

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with Data Management, Data Architecture, and Change Management concepts
• 6+ years of experience in Business/Data Analysis, with at least 4 years in financial institutions
