Senior Business Analyst - BSS/OSS

Lead the discovery, analysis, and documentation of business requirements related to BSS and OSS, working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and objectives.
Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes, systems, and data flows to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
Develop comprehensive business requirements documents, use cases, user stories, and functional specifications to guide the design and development of BSS/OSS solutions.
Collaborate with IT teams, solution architects, and vendors to translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
Lead the proposed configuration, customization, and testing of BSS/OSS systems and applications, ensuring that solutions meet functional and performance requirements.
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and training sessions to communicate requirements, gather feedback, and promote collaboration among project stakeholders.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior business analysts, sharing best practices, insights, and lessons learned from previous projects.
Draft and Review Statement of Compliance document of BSS/OSS solutions, coordinating with business users to ensure that solutions meet their needs and expectations.
Monitor project progress, risks, and issues, proactively identifying and addressing potential roadblocks to ensure successful project delivery.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to BSS and OSS, leveraging this knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
10 Years of experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on BSS and OSS in the telecommunications industry.
Proven track record of successfully leading complex BSS/OSS projects from initiation to closure, meeting project objectives, timelines, and budget constraints.
In-depth knowledge of BSS/OSS concepts, processes, and technologies, including CRM, billing systems, order management, inventory management, and network operations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex business issues and recommend practical solutions.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in using business analysis tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Visio) to document requirements, manage tasks, and track project progress.
Experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) and tools is a plus.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA) are highly desirable.
