What are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer, who looks at the world differently, who explores, lives to beat the system and challenge it and who will take part in building our next generation cloud workload security offering. You will take part in the architecture, design and implementation of a multi-disciplinary cloud native software platform that will serve thousands of users (from enterprise & public sector clients across the globe, incl. some of the largest companies globally) and billions of events daily as part of SentinelOne's security offering. You will be building distributed systems, E2E pipelines that serve all our customers in the area of Linux & Cloud security. As a software engineer at S1, you will deal with extraordinary performance and optimization challenges, given the scale of our cybersecurity services.

What will you Do?
- Leading, designing and developing SentinelOne’s cloud workload security offering using cutting-edge technologies and services.
- Participate in architecture, design, and technological research while considering costs, performance, scale, monitoring, etc.
- Collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders to execute the product roadmap.
- Work in a CI/CD environment
- Learn new technologies, mainly in the areas of complex distributed systems in the cloud.
- Team tech stack includes: Go, Python, Rust, Kafka, SQL/No SQL databases, Docker.
What experience or knowledge should you bring?
- Experience with large-scale microservices systems, emphasizing performance scale and maintainability.
- Experience developing cloud-native solutions and data pipelines
- At least 3 years of experience with Python or Go
- Experience with Terraform / Terragrunt
- Experience working with databases (both SQL and NOSQL)
- Proven experience with AWS, GCP, and/or other cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns
- Self-driven, motivated, and independent with excellent communication skills.
- High English level with excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to quickly dive into new products and understand their inner workings
- Experience with Kubernetes (advantage)
- Experience with Kafka (advantage)
- A degree in Computer Science/Software engineering OR a comparable experience
