Requirements

Your role and responsibilities:

• Full ownership of new products: planning, implementing, maintaining and improving the architecture and software for some of our services.
• Solving technically complex problems to ensure company operations never stop, such as payments, integrations, etc.
• Deliver software solutions that really add value to the running of the company, our clients and our teams.

Your profile - basic qualifications

• You put a high value on freedom of work and flexibility of time associated with remote culture
• You are comfortable working independent and are not afraid of taking responsibility and/or ownership for essential components of the system
• Willingness to mentor less experienced members of the team
• Passionate about building robust products, while also being savvy in applying workarounds when necessary
• Good architectural knowledge (without being an astronaut)
• You have demonstrable experience with NodeJS, SQL, RESTful API, Pub/Sub messaging or other event-based communication protocol
• A development environment with the usual Git, Jira, CI/CD, Docker, Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana

Your profile - preferred/optional qualifications:

• Have contributed to the massive scale of a company
• Exposure to Distributed and/or Event-driven and/or Service-oriented architectures
• Active in Open-Source contributions, including larger projects and personal passion projects
