About the role

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems, providing expertise, guidance, and solutions that align with business objectives.

What you will do

• Architect and deliver complex, maintainable backend solutions.
• Lead collaborative efforts with product owners and development teams.
• Ensure alignment of technical solutions with business goals.
• Spearhead testing procedures, working closely with QA Engineers.
• Provide architectural leadership and solutions.

Requirements

• Expertise in OOP in a PHP/Symfony, Python/SQLAlchemy  or Java  environment.
• Experienced in traditional databases (eg. MySQL, BigQuery, MongoDB, Solr, Redis)
• Experience with event messaging systems
• In-depth understanding of computer science and software engineering concepts.
• Proven experience in unit and functional testing, TDD, and continuous delivery.
• Extensive knowledge of third-party systems integration and asynchronous jobs.
• Good spoken and written level of English.
