Position Summary
- Work on high-traffic SaaS services running at a global scale, serving hundreds of millions of requests per day and constantly growing.
- Develop highly available, zero downtime middleware and front-end products.
- Contribute to software development that spans the full stack—from browser interfaces to data analytics pipelines—supporting a dedicated team focused on data science and operational monitoring.
- Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team (Software Engineers, Site Reliability Engineers, Quality Engineers) to take full ownership of services and projects, from gathering requirements and writing specifications to release and ongoing maintenance.
- Assist in transitioning from a monolithic architecture and AWS Lambdas to a microservices-based framework leveraging Kubernetes.
What we want from you:
Must Have:
- 5+ years of experience in a commercial environment using back-end programming languages, specifically Python and Go.
- 2+ years of experience leading technical projects.
- 2+ years of experience with databases, both NoSQL and Relational.
- 2+ years of experience designing and implementing microservices.
- 2+ years of experience with various services from cloud providers like AWS and Azure.
- Strong knowledge of web and HTTP concepts and methodologies, including DNS, TLS, browser caching, and CDNs (e.g., Cloudflare, CloudFront).
- Experience with agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Django and the Airflow DAG framework.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Docker and containers, ideally including container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.
