AppFollow is an App review management and ASO platform.
Our main goal is to ease the everyday routines of app developers, product managers, marketing teams, customer support, etc. AppFollow helps you gather and manage your apps and games data, increase app average rating, improve app store rankings, and app user loyalty.
This is a fully remote opportunity for the Senior Backend Engineer (Infrastructure Focus) to develop AppFollow for the international app world to help companies worldwide grow their business using AppFollow. As a part of the team, you will be supporting and refactoring Infrastructure which have an impact on the product.
About the Role
- Develop and optimize data collection systems from various sources
- Develop the system to manage source connections required for getting data or reply to reviews
- Contribute to the automatic review response system.
- Support internal and public API to core data entities
- Develop the system to deliver data to various channels (email, chats, helpdesk systems)
- Design, build, maintain and document an efficient, testable, reliable, secure and scalable codebase.
- Contribute with other developers to design and improve the entire system architecture.
- Interaction with legacy services
- Collaborating with the Platform team to deploy the application to various environments and ensure smooth operation, adopt accepted standards, practices and processes to the maintainable systems.
About you
+5 years of Software Development experience in backend
+3 years of asyncio experience in Python development.
- Proficiency in FastAPI for API endpoint development.
- Strong SQL skills, particularly in MySQL, with knowledge in PostgreSQL, Experience with ORM frameworks (preferably SQLAlchemy).
- Experience with message-brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Experience with unit testing (Pytest).
- Experience with NoSQL dbs (MongoDB, Firestore)
- Upper intermediate English proficiency
- Fluent Russian is a plus
It would be nice to have
- Experience in data processing pipelines and automation (e.g. airflow, prefect).
- Experience with cloud-based services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
