About the position 

This is a rare opportunity to join a well-funded startup at an early stage and play a key role in shaping its success. As a team member, you'll help design and build our core platform, working alongside passionate and visionary founders. Your contributions will directly impact the future of investing, giving you the chance to grow with the company from the ground up.

Responsibilities and tasks 

• Design, develop, and maintain back-end systems using Node.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.
• Build and document APIs (RESTful and GraphQL) and ensure seamless system integration.
• Write clean, modular code following SOLID principles.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git, Docker, and AWS, and optimize performance with Redis.
• Apply design patterns (e.g., Singleton, Proxy) and architectural principles to ensure scalability.
• Collaborate with teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and document workflows.
• Stay current with emerging back-end technologies and propose improvements.
• Build and test APIs using Python and FastAPI, and integrate Python-based solutions into Node.js systems.
• Test and integrate Java-based solutions into Node.js systems. 

Qualifications and experience 

• 5+ years of back-end development experience, including 3+ years with Node.js.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, NestJS, PostgreSQL, and ORM frameworks like TypeORM.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Docker, AWS) and design patterns for scalable systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Python, FastAPI, and pytest is desirable.
• Familiarity with Redis, WSL, and UI libraries like Ant Design is preferred.
