The role
Motorway is looking for a Senior B2B Marketing Manager to join our team and help us expand our market presence, drive revenue growth, and strengthen relationships with our business partners.
Reporting directly to the Head of Business Marketing, you will be responsible for creating strategic marketing ideas, as well as executing integrated marketing initiatives that target UK car dealers. We are looking for a marketer with the ability to be both creative and analytical, driving full funnel initiatives that resonate with customers and drive business impact. You will work closely with sales, product, customer success and marketing teams to ensure alignment and maximise opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have generalist experience in: demand generation, product marketing, sales enablement and cross functional collaboration.

What you’ll do:
- Initiate marketing strategy ideas based on customer or data insight.
- Develop and execute the go to marketing strategy for campaigns, leveraging internal and external capabilities and driving collaboration.
- Develop value propositions that align to customer insight.
- Create messaging matrices that sing to customer benefits.
- Channel strategy planning for all campaigns, demonstrating the ability to plan out a customer journey.
- Work closely with sales to define barriers in the sales process and work with product marketing to create collateral, presentations and resources that support the sales process and help close deals.
- Conduct regular competitor and customer research.
- Own the hospitality schedule, maximising opportunities for brand activation.
- Own the trade media strategy and schedule, identifying content opportunities and reporting on results to inform the overall marketing strategy.
- Develop measurable KPIs and working with our analytics team, track performance of campaigns to provide data-backed insights to optimise campaigns and find new opportunity areas.
- Manage and brief agency and internal resources to enable them to execute their very best work.
- Develop presentations and other documents to clearly communicate strategic plans to management, cross-functional partners and the broader organisation.
- Drive alignment and partner closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and deliver integrated marketing campaigns. Cross-functional teams include: Product Marketing, Communications, Data Analytics, Creative (In-house), Media and Advertising Agencies and Growth Marketing.
- Develop and share B2B marketing best practices and bring continuous innovation.
Requirements
- Marketing experience with a track record of driving impact.
- Experience in executing marketing campaigns with tangible business outcomes.
- Experience in integrated campaigns with an understanding of communications and media planning.
- Experience working with media and creative agencies.
- Experience in leading and communication, with demonstrated talent at building collaborative partnerships with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge for customers, with experience utilising research and data to inform marketing strategy and improve customer experience.
- Experience influencing effectively cross-functionally across all levels of management, and with product and sales teams.
- Experience managing multiple campaigns at the same time, and working with many different internal and external teams to ensure we are launching our programs seamlessly, and to the highest impact.
- Experience in behavioural economics is a plus.
- Strong organisational ability and project management.
- Proven ability to prioritise and execute in a fast-paced environment.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- A high attention to detail.
