OUR NEW AZURE CLOUD ENGINEER
As an Azure Cloud Engineer you would be at the forefront of building infrastructure solutions for our customers who are the leaders in the financial, manufacturing, energy and housing markets in Europe. You would work jointly with Solution Architects and Automation Developers to deliver infrastructure-as-code solutions that enable the customer's IT requirements on the Azure public cloud.
SOME OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain various aspects of infrastructure automation and configuration management
- Design, build and deliver scalable cloud solutions
- Collaborate with architects and automation engineers to effectively deliver the intended infrastructural outcomes
- Participate in functional and technical reviews / sprint reviews
- Develop and maintain automation solutions, facilitating platform build-outs
- Apply DevOps/GitOps and Agile principles and practices
SOME OF OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, as well as fluent in English
- Experience in developing Azure infrastructure-as-code with Terraform and/or Bicep
- Proficiency with code versioning (Git) and code repository platforms such as GitHub
- Ability to understand technical infrastructure solution designs and convert them into code-based solutions
- Open and collaborative with strong focus on client and/or customer service experience
- Good knowledge of cloud computing technologies and at least one of the cloud providers, preferably Microsoft Azure
- Solid knowledge of DevOps best practices, when it comes to infrastructure maintenance
- Strong foundation in automating system administration tasks (Windows and/or Linux), networking, PowerShell/Bash scripting, backuping / restoring, upgrades and patching
- Strong focus on security
- Experience with other IaC or configuration management tools such as Ansible would be appreciated
It would be awesome, if you have:
- Cloud certifications: Microsoft Azure AZ-104, AZ-400
- InfoSec or Cybersecurity certificates: CEH, AZ-500
- Process certifications: ITIL, Scrum, etc.
