We are seeking an exceptional Senior Automation Engineer to join our expanding team. In this role, you will spearhead innovation by designing, developing, and implementing robust integrations and automations. These solutions will empower the Product and Engineering, and Customer Success teams to enhance their effectiveness and efficiency helping them deliver business outcomes.
Design and implement cloud infrastructure automation solutions to create productivity and efficiencies in CS Demo infrastructure and P&E infrastructure
Design and implement AWS infrastructure solutions
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CDK/Terraform or similar alternatives.
Automate deployment and management of applications.
Perform infrastructure cost analysis and optimization and optimize AWS resources for cost control.
Create bots and automations to make demo infrastructure self-service
Design and implement Automation Solutions to create productivity and efficiencies in Customer Success processes
Conduct in-depth discovery sessions with internal stakeholders to comprehend their current challenges and requirements.
Lead the solution design process through close collaboration, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Design and implement automation solutions using the Workato platform to address identified challenges.
Technical Guidance
Provide guidance, troubleshoot technical issues, and effectively communicate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical team members.
Share technical expertise gained from experience with various integration platforms to elevate the capabilities of the Customer Success team.
Process Enhancement
Contribute to Workato's knowledge base by documenting best practices and insights.
Enhance internal processes and foster knowledge sharing to continuously improve team efficiency.
Exceptional Customer Service
Prioritize and deliver exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
University degree or equivalent educational experience, ideally in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent industry experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in software engineering or technical consulting roles, with a focus on integration and automation platforms
Certification, formal training, or deep familiarity with platform administration, integration development, and platform architecture is advantageous.
Experience in implementing integration projects involving complex enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) and cloud business apps (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce).
Familiarity with process orchestration, workflow tools, Business Process Management, Robotic Process Automation, or other automation products.
5+ years of relevant experience with cloud services
Experience in deploying and managing applications and AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform.
Good knowledge of AWS services and security best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
2-3 years of coding experience in Java/Python/Ruby, with knowledge of SOAP/XML considered a plus.
Strong collaboration skills, and adaptability to a dynamic startup environment.
Critical thinking and analytical skills with an entrepreneurial and proactive mindset.
Effective task prioritization and time management skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
