Senior Atlassian System Administrator

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Atlassian System Administrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance, customer support, and administrative duties for Atlassian product users.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions. Ensure that users have the appropriate level of access to Jira projects and issues / Confluence spaces and pages.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to users.
  • Gather requirements, investigate potential solutions, analyze impact, and act as responsible person in implementation of Atlassian solutions.
  • Supervise, design and maintain JIRA Projects with customized configuration
  • Monitor and handle user requests on Atlassian products within internal policies
  • Compose internal documentation with oversight from team members that reflects processes and system configuration, keep it up to date.
  • Review upgrades, identify bug fixes, and evaluate new features applicable to Atlassian environment. Plan and execute upgrades, migrations, and integrations with other tools and systems
  • Conduct regular system audits and ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Manage backup/archiving solution for Jira and Confluence
  • Collaborate with teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions using Atlassian tools.
  • Create custom reports and dashboards
  • Keep the instance maintained and clean 

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Atlassian administration, from product to organization level, including user management, project configuration, and plugin management
  • Expert knowledge of Atlassian ecosystem strcuture and the dependencies between its various elements
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as Atlassian System Administrator
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Expertise in Automation for Jira
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong understanding of SLA, planning and time management
  • Experience in implementing Jira Service Management solutions
  • Confident spoken and written English.

Nice to have:

  • Atlassian certifications
  • Familiarity with ITIL
  • Experience in asset management using JSM Assets
  • Experience with ScriptRunner plugin 
  • Experience with the Cloud version of Atlassian products
