About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Associate - Travel Desk, you will be responsible for managing all corporate travel arrangements and policies. This role is crucial in ensuring seamless travel experiences while optimizing costs and maintaining compliance with company policies. You will also work closely with travel service providers to negotiate competitive rates and deliver exceptional service, contributing directly to the operational efficiency of the organization.
A Day in the Life
- Develop and implement strategic corporate travel policies and programs
- Oversee and manage all travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation
- Maintain strong relationships with travel agencies and vendors to ensure optimal service levels
- Negotiate contracts and rates with travel service providers
- Advise employees on travel documents, insurance, and other travel-related matters
- Handle the credit card programs and manage travel-related expenses, including T&E report processing and reimbursements
- Ensure full compliance with corporate travel procedures and continually improve travel programs
- Manage urgent travel changes or cancellations with professionalism and efficiency
- Provide real-time solutions to travel emergencies, ensuring minimal disruptions
What You Need
- Proven experience as a corporate travel manager or similar role
- Knowledge of international travel regulations and currency exchange
- Expertise in processing travel and expense (T&E) reports
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong negotiation capabilities
- Well-organized with a reliable, customer-centric approach
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Training in travel and tourism is a plus
- Knowledge of forex reload and reconciliation
