SafeLease is on a mission to help self-storage operators protect and grow their businesses. As we scale rapidly with our core product, we are seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Associate to support our financial decision-making and long-term growth strategies. This hybrid role is based in our downtown Austin, Texas office.
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the leadership team to evaluate business performance, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.
- Build and maintain financial models to assess the impact of new initiatives, growth strategies, and potential M&A opportunities.
- Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results to forecasts, identifying key drivers and providing actionable recommendations for course correction.
- Provide in-depth analysis of key business metrics, identifying trends and opportunities that inform financial strategy and help prioritize business initiatives.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate financial insights to the executive team and other key stakeholders.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial plans with operational goals, ensuring financial integrity and alignment across the business.
About You
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in consulting, investment banking, financial analysis, private equity, or a related field, with a strong focus on financial modeling and business forecasting.
- Demonstrated ability to build financial models that inform decision-making and drive strategic business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics and performance indicators, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Experience conducting variance analysis and developing financial forecasts for fast-paced, high-growth companies.
- Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to prioritize initiatives based on their financial impact and business potential.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
