The Platform Growth & Operations, User team is ultimately helping to drive more holistic solutions in order to maximize the efficiency and balance of the marketplace. We are looking for a Senior Associate/ Associate who will support our business by combining data insights and local market intelligence to grow the marketplace while ensuring good user experience and retention through optimizing commercial settings and online platform tactics and initiatives. At the same time to maintain an on-going dialogue with our city operations teams and contribute to the product and system enhancement process. You will need to wear many hats, work smart and iterate quickly.
What you’ll do:
- Conduct ongoing performance review and lead the implementation of optimization initiatives (e.g. user promotions and engagement initiatives) for designated markets with the objective of maximizing online platform / marketplace demand growth and sustainable user active rate
- Contribute to the continuous refinement of market performance monitoring and management framework and process to ensure a structured approach to drive market growth through combination of data analysis and market intelligence collection
- Assist in developing regional user retention and growth strategies and localizing to markets' specific action plans
- Manage the online platform budget for your designated markets, and to maximise the effectiveness and ROI of implemented campaigns and initiatives
- Contribute to product and system enhancement process, work with product managers on feature enhancements, align product capabilities with marketplace needs and opportunities.
- Collaborate with city teams and other functional departments to ensure business and team objectives are met
- Support adhoc projects and cross-departmental initiatives as required
What you’ll need:
- 1+ year of experience in User Operations, Growth Operations, or a similar analytical role within a product app platform or marketplace setting; relevant experience in a high-growth start-up environment or app-based/online marketplace is highly desirable.
- A degree in business, economics, finance, marketing, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, coupled with previous experience performing business analysis and derive actionable insights from large data sets.
- Proven track record of effective project management, with the ability to engage and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-cultural and functional teams.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with fluent proficiency in written and spoken English; proficiency in Chinese (Cantonese or Putonghua) is preferred.
