Our SelectLeaders client is a leading Florida-based multifamily acquisitions and asset management company, experiencing significant growth.
They are currently seeking a Vice President of Asset Management (Senior Asset Manager) to join their expanding team and portfolio. Below are the key responsibilities and qualifications for the role:
Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and reconcile monthly property financial statements; produce standard monthly reports and maintain action plans.
- Update monthly cash analysis for each asset, including CapEx and operating expenses.
- Monitor the financial performance of investments, maintain financial models, review annual budgets, and address performance concerns.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to evaluate asset performance and join our quarterly investor update calls.
- Identify and implement opportunities for value enhancement, including cash flow improvement, expense reduction, dispositions, and refinances.
- Collect market data and perform benchmarking analysis.
- Investigate and communicate property-level issues to senior management.
- Stay informed about trends in demographics, product supply, economic drivers, and job growth impacting the portfolio, and act accordingly.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5-7 plus years of relevant experience in asset management, regional property management, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related discipline (Master’s degree or professional certifications such as CPM or CCIM are a plus).
- Strong property management background with proven experience managing third-party property managers.
- Demonstrated success in renovating and turning over distressed properties.
- Availability for emergencies, including weekends.
- Willingness to relocate to Central Florida or already residing in the area.

- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
