We are seeking a skilled ERP Consultant to lead a strategic project focused on streamlining and harmonizing our business processes using our current ERP systems. The consultant will be responsible for optimizing workflows, consolidating disparate systems, and ensuring consistency across all departments. This role involves overseeing the project from initiation to go-live and aligning the ERP solution with our organizational goal of improving efficiency, reducing redundancy, and ensuring data accuracy.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the ERP system, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational needs.
- Configure and customize the ERP software according to business requirements, including workflows, reports, dashboards, and user interfaces.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the ERP system integrates seamlessly with existing IT infrastructure and third-party applications.
- Ensure the system is scalable and flexible to accommodate future growth or changes in the organization’s needs.
- Work with department leaders and stakeholders to gather and document detailed business and technical requirements.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and gap analysis to identify opportunities for business process improvements through ERP functionalities.
- Translate business needs into ERP system specifications, ensuring clear communication between technical teams and business users.
- Develop detailed project plans for ERP implementations, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and budget oversight.
- Monitor project progress and manage changes in scope, budget, or schedule to keep the project on track.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, HR, and operations, to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Provide regular project updates to senior leadership, highlighting milestones, risks, and next steps.
- Collaborate with IT teams to design and execute data integration plans that synchronize ERP data with other internal systems (e.g., CRM, HRIS, finance systems).
- Ensure proper testing and validation of data before going live.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot any issues or bugs, and work with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure that the ERP system meets performance standards and is free of errors before deployment.
- Develop training materials and deliver workshops to help end-users understand and utilize the ERP system effectively.
- Provide hands-on training to key users across various departments, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.
- Act as a change agent by promoting best practices and new processes enabled by the ERP system.
- Offer ongoing support during and after go-live, addressing user queries and troubleshooting issues as needed.

This position can be based at our headquarters in Salt Lake City, UT. Remote work is also an option.
The Experience You’ll Need
- Hands-on experience with major ERP platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 and NetSuite
- Understanding of ERP modules such as: Financials, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Inventory Management, Procurement, HR and Payroll
- Experience with middleware tools such as workato
- Building and maintaining integrations between ERP systems and other enterprise applications (e.g., CRM, HRIS, E-commerce platforms, supply chain systems).
- Experience in working with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), especially RESTful APIs and SOAP web services for real-time communication between systems.
- Ability to develop, configure, and troubleshoot API connections between ERP and external systems.
- Experience with data exchange formats such as XML, JSON, CSV, EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
- Experience in data mapping and transformation, handling large datasets, and ensuring data accuracy when migrating data between systems.
- Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and processes for data movement across systems.
- Proficiency with SQL for querying and manipulating data in relational databases
- Understanding of database structures and how data is stored and retrieved in ERP systems to support automation and reporting needs.
- Experience in ERP system configuration to enable and support automations.
- Knowledge of ERP customization to meet specific business requirements (e.g., writing scripts, creating custom fields, or using ERP tools for modification).
- Experience in developing and executing test plans including performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate integrations before deployment.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks like GDPR, SOX, HIPAA, or other industry-specific compliance requirements
