What we're looking for:

Memac Ogilvy Jordan is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Animator to join our dynamic creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animation and motion graphics, with the ability to create compelling visual content for a variety of platforms. As a Senior Animator, you will play a key role in bringing our client's visions to life, working on projects ranging from commercials and digital campaigns to social media content and interactive experiences.

 

To Succeed in This Role, You Need To:

Animation and Motion Graphics:

  • Create high-quality animations and motion graphics for a variety of media, including TV commercials, digital campaigns, social media content, and interactive experiences.
  • Develop storyboards, concepts, and animatics to visualize and plan animations.

Creative Development:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop innovative concepts and ideas that meet client objectives.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the creative process with fresh ideas and solutions.

Project Management:

  • Manage multiple animation projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Work closely with producers, directors, and other team members to ensure seamless project execution.

Technical Expertise:

  • Utilize advanced animation software and tools to create animations, including Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and other industry-standard programs.
  • Stay updated with the latest animation techniques, software, and industry trends to continually improve skills and processes.

Client Collaboration:

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide creative solutions that exceed their expectations.
  • Present animation concepts and progress to clients, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments.

Team Leadership:

  • Mentor and guide junior animators, providing feedback and support to help them grow and develop their skills.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging creativity and innovation within the team.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Animation, Motion Graphics, Graphic Design, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in animation and motion graphics, preferably in an agency or production studio environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of animation styles and techniques.
  • Proficiency in animation software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
