Envoy Workplace launched in May 2023. Which has been Envoy’s fastest-growing revenue stream and is expected to continue growing at a rapid pace. This team is the core features team for Workplace and is ultimately held responsible for this product’s success and failure.
As an Android engineer, you’ll be directly responsible for building core product features, collecting and evaluating metrics that determine their impact on the business, and raising the bar for our app’s quality. Our engineers own the full development and release cycle and are empowered to make any technical or process changes to improve the velocity of the team.
The Envoy Mobile app is a rapidly expanding product suite, and our tech stack has been shaped by this environment. The codebase is written in 100% Kotlin, uses modern Android components, and adapts contemporary architecture practices. Much of the app is reinforced by extensive unit testing to ensure the high quality and stability of the codebase.
This is a hybrid position that requires at least 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our San Francisco office.
Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in SF Bay Area, our expected cash compensation range for this role is $170K-$190KEnvoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, and great benefits.
