Let's start with the role

As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Kaizen Gaming, you’ll be at the heart of our data-driven initiatives, working on the silver and gold layers of our medallion architecture. Your role is integral in enhancing our four core elements: discoverability, security, quality, and observability of data.

As a Senior Analytics Engineer you will

Innovate and improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes by automating or simplifying self-service modeling and enhancing production support for our internal customers.
Translate complex business and functional requirements into scalable, operational solutions that meet our high standards.
Adopt best practices in data modeling, ensuring data integrity, creating resilient test designs and developing comprehensive documentation.
Develop and oversee efficient data transformation pipelines, utilizing ETL/ELT processes.

What you’ll bring

A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in writing complex, optimized SQL code for data manipulation and reporting.
At least 3 years of experience in ETL/ELT and Reporting tools.
Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
A continuous improvement mindset, with high attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Financial reporting & reconciliation experience would be a plus.
Data Modeling, Data Warehouse Architecture experience would be a plus.
Exposure to Azure Services and Databricks would be a plus.
