Senior Analyst, Operations & Affiliates | Bankrate

As a Senior Operations Analyst, you’ll work with RV business leaders and drive the operations of the embedded distribution team for our Bankrate.com brand. You'll work with external partners, iterate through customer experience optimization (journey optimization), deep dive into visitor behavior and performance, and drive the creation of new features and tools that enhance the customer experience and drive additional revenue. You will partner across Bankrate’s various functional groups to bring initiatives to life. 

*This role requires a hybrid schedule and will be based in our Fort Mill, SC Headquarters or NYC Tuesday through Thursday and work fully remotely on Mondays and Fridays each week. 

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee all operational work streams across data & analytics, product, accounting, partner support, etc. to ensure both internal and external needs are exceeded.
  • Lead all financial planning and forecasting, creating models, building monthly analyses for leadership, and tracking performance against goals.
  • Manage and oversee product work for multiple internal and external systems including the relaunch of our partner-facing platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to align on key priorities and develop a roadmap of tech advancements.
  • Identify and implement process enhancements across the business to optimize workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Develop actionable insights and define KPIs to measure success and identify areas of opportunity.
  • Communicate timelines, goals, and performance to diverse audiences, including engineers, content writers, digital designers, fellow analysts, and senior leaders.

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Digital Operations Analyst, Product Analyst, or Business analyst with hands-on data analysis experience to pull strategic insights
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL, Looker (preferred); can weave together data from multiple relational databases.
  • Able to apply foundational analytical techniques (segmentation, clustering, correlation, regression, classification etc.) to enhance analysis to discover deeper trends and relationships to determine action items
  • Ability to discern signal from noise using statistical approaches such as sampling, hypothesis testing, and a/b testing
  • Demonstrated strong ability to access, manipulate, and understand full funnel datasets and technical platforms without oversight (sql) and build relevant reports, dashboards and visualizations to answer business questions (Excel, Tableau, Looker etc.)

Compensation

  • USA Compensation Range: $100,000-115,000*
    • New York Compensation Range: $125,000-$155,000
      *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
