Brunswick Group is seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Insight team in Washington, D.C., or New York.

You are:

You will:

  • Scope and frame research project plans, selecting the appropriate methodology and vendors
  • Design and execute quantitative research, including questionnaire development, basic programming, sample and cross tab plans, data collection, processing and analysis
  • Design and execute qualitative research, including discussion guide and recruiting plan development, moderation, note-taking, synthesis and analysis
  • Support all phases of a research project – independently managing project logistics and vendors end to end to ensure on-time delivery of work streams and deliverables
  • Draft reports and memos, structuring the story, bringing data to life through visualization and linking findings to strategy
  • Coach junior team members


You have:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in research and/or data analytics in a fast-paced, client-driven environment, such as a polling, public affairs or market research firm
  • Familiarity with a range of methods and techniques, including audience segmentation, campaign assessment and statistical modeling. Experience with social/digital media tools and analytics is a plus
  • Ability to independently draft error-free and engaging memos/presentations with findings that are clear and relevant to the business issues
  • Working knowledge of statistics, and SPSS and/or SAS
  • Strong project management skills, can independently monitor and keep projects on track, and have good judgement in knowing when and how to escalate problems
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Critical and creative thinking skills

Compensation 

The applicant who is selected for this position will be eligible for the following compensation: 

In Washington, DC., the annual compensation for this role will be $90,000 - $110,000. 

If an offer is extended to an applicant in Washington, DC., the applicant will be paid in line with this range and based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications. This range applies only to the Washington, D.C. position, and salaries in other offices and regions will vary based on an applicant’s experience and qualifications, as well as the competitive landscape.

Bonus Eligibility: Annual discretionary bonus contingent upon individual performance and the overall performance of the Firm.
