We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Analyst with a focus on the Ad Tech domain to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 4 years of relevant work experience in data analysis, with proficiency in tools and technologies such as Python, Power BI, SQL, and Excel. As a Data Analyst specializing in Ad Tech, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing advertising data, optimizing campaigns, and driving insights to maximize advertising effectiveness and revenue generation.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze advertising data from various sources, including ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, and third-party platforms.
  2. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI to visualize key performance metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPM, conversion rates, and ROI.
  3. Perform in-depth analysis of advertising campaigns to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights.
  5. Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets related to ad performance, audience demographics, and market trends.
  6. Utilize Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation tasks to streamline data processing workflows.
  7. Conduct A/B testing and other statistical experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising strategies and tactics.
  8. Monitor and track ad inventory, ad placement, and ad performance to ensure optimal ad delivery and revenue generation.
  9. Build power bi dashboards & maintain the philosophy of 'Reviews Via dashboards'.
  10. Provide ad hoc analysis and ad hoc reporting to support strategic decision-making and ad hoc business inquiries.
  11. Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Ad Tech and digital advertising.

 

Required Skills:

  1. Strong proficiency in SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets related to advertising.
  2. Advanced skills in Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and automation.
  3. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar, with a focus on ad performance metrics.
  4. Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, reporting, and ad hoc data manipulation.
  5. Solid understanding of digital advertising concepts, including ad serving, ad targeting, and ad measurement.
  6. Familiarity with ad tech platforms and technologies such as ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, and ad exchanges.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's/Bachelor's degree Computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics in a related field.
  2. 3-4 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the Ad tech or Digital advertising industry
  3. Experience with programmatic advertising platforms and real-time bidding (RTB) systems.
  4. Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
  5. Familiarity with data privacy regulations and compliance requirements in the Ad Tech industry.
  6. Experience with data engineering tools and techniques, including ETL processes and data pipelines.
