Global Commercial
The Global Commercial Finance Team plays a critical role in supporting a company’s financial and strategic objectives by working at the intersection of Finance, Media services, and media pricing on a global scale.
The Role
The candidate will report to the Associate Director, Global Commercial. Working as part of the Global Commercial and Finance team, you will support the GCFAD (Global Client Finance Associate Director) with their role of partnering the Managing Partner responsible for the overall Client relationship through reporting, financial and commercial analysis, and commercial operations.
As a part of the wider Commercial team, which encompasses not just the commercial function but also the audit, compliance and legal function an element of the Senior Analyst, Commercial Global role is to support the whole team by ensuring key markets data is always kept up to date. Additionally, there may be occasions when the audit or legal team would require assistance with a simple task.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experience Senior Analyst, Commercial Global who will play an instrumental role in further ensuring accurate and timely reporting for client and agency stakeholders.
In this role, you will work closely with commercial and finance colleagues across various markets
The ideal candidate will have proven experience of successfully analysing a P&L, consolidating data from various sources. They will demonstrate knowledge of financial reporting tools and excel functions as well as developing reporting templates.
Essential Criteria

Experience building financial reports

Advanced experience using Excel (unpivoting data bases, power pivot, power query, charts and graphs, pivot tables, formulas)

Proactive approach to expanding knowledge and capabilities
- Demonstrates a willingness to learn about the media industry to ensure full understanding of required tasks.
- Possess a general understanding of the economic and industry specific implications and developments for Mindshare and our clients.

- Ability to process and, most of all, interpret financial data in support of commercial decisions.

Responsibilities
- Manage the whole process of collecting from all markets, query by variance analysis, correct where necessary or advise markets on corrections necessary

Consolidate when finalised all market report, aggregate financial data from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive view for each market
- Ensuring an accurate and complete summary of all markets is available

Collect and consolidate adhoc client reporting per contract requirement: remuneration, AVBs, Seo,
-
Coordinate data collection and reports from markets, facilitate communication between markets to ensure timely and consistent data collection
- Manage day to day relation with markets contacts, be the point of contact for markets and commercial team members

Key contact list for the markets to be maintained to ensure is accurate at and reliable at all times.
- Ensure the annual WPP FX rates are received and prepared and shared with markets (via Commercial intranet site) at the start of each year.

Ensure FX rates are updated in each client report

Complete client reporting and analyse financial KPIs extracting insight in order to provide recommendations for future reports
- Ensure any changes to the legal status/ownerships of markets is up to date

Effectively manage your workload, and submit deliverables to your manager within deadlines
