Galileo Financial Technologies, LLC seeks Senior Analyst in Sandy, UT:
Job Duties: Identifying optimization opportunities for existing Galileo client fraud mitigation
controls. Performing enhanced fraud analytics for complex, proactive fraud mitigation strategies.
Creating Galileo’s ML model capabilities related to fraud identification on an independent basis.
Enabling enhanced data warehouse capabilities and reporting through real-time analytics tools.
Independently improving reporting and dashboards capabilities through utilization of enhanced
tools. Performing data integrity validation and analysis for future fraud mitigation. Independently
creating a new transaction fraud matching logic for accurate dispute identification, as part of the
risk tagging process. Develop, maintain, and implement strategies to detect and prevent
fraudulent activity. Support new client implementations including participating in project calls,
implementing baseline transactional fraud rules, and configuring required reporting. Conduct
thorough reviews and inquiries on identified and suspicious transactions, and communicate
significant fraud issues to clients and make recommendations when weaknesses are identified.
Analyze transactional and user data to identify emerging fraud patterns and trends. Act as a
mentor and trainer for junior fraud analysts or new team members. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Analytics, Economics, or
closely related quantitative discipline.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Performing funnel analysis; (2) Fraud strategy optimization; (3)
Executing A/B testing; (4) Utilizing data-driven insights to identify vulnerabilities; (6) Data
cleaning; (7) Data visualization; (8) Developing and implementing fraud features/rules; (9)
Predictive analytics; and 10) Data analysis. Any suitable combination of education, training
and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $84,000.00 - $96,600.00 per annum.
