About the role

GEMESYS is looking for a Senior Analog-/Mixed-Signal Design Engineer to join their cutting-edge hardware development team. This role requires expertise across the full IC design stack—from concept through successful silicon implementation, including top-level integration, post-layout verification, and final design sign-off. Experience with PCB design, system integration, and chip testing is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, simulate, and validate analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits, including opamps, low-power and low-leakage circuits, logic, and memory blocks.
  • Lead and participate in all stages of the IC design process, including:
    • Schematic design and simulation
    • Layout and parasitic extraction
    • Design and performance verification (post-layout simulations)
    • Top-level integration and sign-off
  • Focus on low-power performance, low-leakage, and noise robustness in circuit design.
  • Ensure precise physical design implementation.
  • Support board-level design, integration, and testing processes.
  • Debug silicon prototypes in the lab, focusing on performance optimization and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate closely with other teams to ensure designs meet system-level requirements.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for design, testing, and verification processes.
