Senior AI Data Engineer

Szeged, Hungary

Our teams develop complex and high performing reference systems. Hardware, data, and machine learning teams are collaborating to provide high quality data to serve different business needs, e.g. product validation.

Your Tasks

  • Prepare and clear data (merge, split, fill missing data, calculate statistic etc.) for AI models 
  • Be able to work with several data bases and several data formats and be able to convert different formats of data 
  • Basic understanding of Machine learning and Deep Learning modelling 
  • Be able to work with time sequential data 
  • Participate in project planning, task estimation, and technical input for project timelines 
  • Participate in data acquisition and labelling activities and preparing relevant roadmap 
  • Be able to provide requirements for data acquisition and labelling 
  • Create data pipeline tooling and make automation in this pipeline 
  • KPI reporting towards project stakeholders 
  • Think in systems and explore opportunities to improve and streamline end-to-end processes by transforming abstract concepts into working solutions 
  • Develop data pipeline concepts and prototypes, identify, and solve performance bottlenecks etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, software architects, AI developers, to ensure project success
  • Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews to ensure adherence coding standards and best practices

  • University degree (BSc or higher) in a technical area: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data science 
  • Excellent coding skills in Python (or corresponding data science language)  
  • Strong knowledge in Pandas/ NumPy libraries (or corresponding databases) 
  • Experience in Git 
  • Professional usage of software development tools
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good command of English language
  • Willingness to work independently and as part of an international team

Nice to have  

  • Experience in radar sensor domain
  • Experience with databases 
  • Experience in SQL, AWS 
  • ML Ops discipline knowledge 
  • Basic understanding of Machine Learning / Deep Learning application in functional safety projects
  • Experience in automotive area with automotive processes and automotive tooling
  • Experience with cloud technologies  
  • Experience with agile development methods
