As an experienced AEM Engineer you will have a deep understanding of how AEM works technically and also how business users interact with it. You will have a passion for software development and an excellent understanding of how to define and deliver solutions iteratively and collaboratively within AEM. You should be used to coaching other members of the team to up skill them with AEM knowledge. You will be confident in challenging business requirements to ensure you are continuously delivering the best possible outcome, harnessing innovation and driving adoption of new technologies to deliver business value. Your vision and ambition will contribute to shaping our online technology roadmap, influencing our future technical direction and balancing passion with precision to deliver exceptional online service and solutions for our customers.
The team’s primary task is to develop and maintain a customised Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) sites instance alongside a (JSON & React) content rendering service built on a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture. You'll work closely with the Digital Asset Management team who build and maintain the Assets side of the shared AEM Instance.

Key required skills
Experienced in customization of AEM 6.4 or higher
Specific Expertise in JSON, REST Git.
Understanding of React Js.
Have a good understanding of Jquery, Client Library, HTL, JSP & ECMA script.
Excellent knowledge and experience on AEM Modules, Sling, OSGi and JCR
Good to have experiences with AEM Workflows, Sling Jobs, JCR/OSGi event handling
Working knowledge on AEM components, templates, Dialog, Coral UI and Granite Framework
Good understanding and working knowledge of Java 1.8 (edited)
Strong knowledge of writing Java unit test cases using Mockito and AEM Context
Good understanding of TDD and BDD
Good to have skills - AWS (S3, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SNS), Integration with Scene 7, AEM as a Headless CMS.
Must be able to write high-quality, resilient and secure unit-tested code that is easy to read and maintain.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable skills:
Some knowledge and experience in building and maintaining a service built on Cloud infrastructure.
Experience in maintaining automated Build and test pipelines.
Experience in iterative / Agile Development lifecycle and lean engineering principles.
