Senior Accountant, Revenue

Overview 

We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join our team. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual with excellent accounting knowledge as well as strong communication skills. This role will report to the Manager, Greater China Accounting and will support the Global Accounts Receivable team by contributing to the accurate and timely processing of cash receipts, working with clients to process accurate and complete billing documents, and coordinating with sales professionals and keeping accurate and timely collection records. Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

• Maintain internal controls to ensure that all transactions are properly recorded and billed to our customers, observing internal commercial policies and generally accepted accounting principles.  
• Coordinate with Sales and Accounting to reconcile Fapiaos, invoices, and client charges; 
• Review client statement records for completeness and accuracy; 
• Work with customers to determine proper billing requirements and send accurate billing documents in a timely manner; 
• Contact customers for overdue payments and instruct Accounting for proper cash application; 
• Identify deviations from account receivable and bad debt across the Greater China business, and provide relevant reports for key stakeholders; 
• Assist with other administrative and accounting duties, as needed. 

An ideal candidate possesses the following: 

• Minimum 3 years of relevant Accounting experience is required, with working knowledge of accounts receivable, billing, and collection processes; 
• Experience working with multinational enterprises is preferred; 
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required;  
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese, both written and verbal is required; 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate collaboration with customers and key stakeholders across the organization;  
• Superior organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize assignments in a fast-paced environment with a small team; 
• Strong attention to detail to drive excellence;  
• Ability to work independently; 
• Experience with Great Plains and Salesforce a plus
