About the team/role
As the Senior Accountant, you will report to the Senior Director, Accounting. This role will play a critical role in our month-end close process, assist with our external audit, and partner closely with our Financial Planning and Strategy team.

What you’ll do

  • Assist with the accounting month-end close and financial reporting processes. 
  • Prepare monthly accounting journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.  
  • Assist in the evaluation and adoption of accounting standard updates, including documenting conclusions around complex and technical accounting areas.
  • Oversee continuous process improvement projects for areas of responsibility.
  • Perform financial statement analysis and communicate findings to finance management.
  • Assist with the management of annual financial audits and monthly/quarterly reporting.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA qualification is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting-related work experience.
  • Big 4 accounting experience is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and Excel.
  • Experience with close management software (preferably FloQast) is a plus.
  • Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects while continuing to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, customer service orientation, attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The base salary range for this role is $97,474 to $114,675 in Denver, CO.
