As a Senior Accountant, you will join our international Finance Team of like minded people who are passionate about driving growth and development of the company and its people.

What you'll do
- Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, focusing on digital and cryptocurrency-related transactions.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry-specific regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
- Review and ensure the accuracy of journal entries and account reconciliations, with attention to digital transactions and cryptocurrency.
- Coordinate and prepare for internal and external audits.
- Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards (Local GAAPs, IFRS)
- Support the preparation of tax filings and compliance documents.
- Participate in special projects and provide ad hoc financial reports as needed.
On day one you'll bring
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with experience in a senior accounting role
- Strong knowledge of Local GAAP (knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP is an advantage) and other relevant accounting principles and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle…) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience with financial audits and compliance.
- Excellent English (written and verbal).
- Experience in the fintech industry or with fintech products is considered an advantage.
- Ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of digital transaction data.
