Job Description

A sales executive within the Direct Sales Team, part of Acceptance Solutions (Cybersource) your focus will be on growing our business across the European region through the strengthening of partnerships and collaborating with the European clusters and Global teams on the retention, growth and expansion of direct clients in the Visa portfolio to increase our overall revenue and support scorecard attainment of VAS. A proven sales professional with business development, account management and execution skills. You will directly sell to direct clients across key identified segments to achieve bookings & revenue targets through consistent adoption of the IDDEA sales methodology.  You will be motivated and driven individual.  Passionate about the business, consistently improving awareness and identifying growth, cross and upselling opportunities of Acceptance Solutions (Cybersource) and broader Value-Added Services while maintaining and managing a portfolio of Key accounts. 

Responsibilities:

  • Managing a set portfolio of Acceptance Solutions clients of Cybersource creating a robust pipeline of opportunity; upsell and continuing to grow revenue.
  • Deliver multi-year client contracts
  • Consistently leverage Visa's sales IDDEA methodology to identify new opportunities with prospects
  • Use strong commercial acumen that provides client insight/performance/risks and drives new opportunity results
  • Proactively engage with C-Level client executives to drive the promotion of Acceptance Solutions (Cybersource) technology and influence client strategies for acquisition, payment volume growth and adoption of value-added services
  • Accurately forecast revenue growth and opportunity bookings through the tools provided by Visa (such as salesforce and MSD)
  • Meet and/or exceed bookings/revenue and growth targets through quota attainment and delivery.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and execution of a well structed sales plan to achieve target growth plans and quotas.
  • Organize and implement strategic account planning processes; Identify opportunities and challenges faced by the client, recognize those initiatives that will solve our mutual business objectives, identify and deploy Visa & Cybersource solutions and resources to support the deepening of the relationship
  • Consult on and implement innovative sales enablement strategies with client group
  • Pro-actively engage with client to assess their pipeline to be able to support an accurate forecasting of revenue to Visa Cybersource.
  • Identify new opportunities to upsell Visa Cybersource Solutions and Services
  • Devise and manage a client-by-client strategy that grows revenue through measurable KPIs and activity

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

 

  • Experienced candidate with strong track record in driving net new client acquisitions and upselling and cross selling of new services within the acquirer/FI/partner ecosystem
  • Demonstrable experience of attaining/achieving target let quotas for bookings (AANR) and revenue attainment.
  • Experience of deploying a sales methodology to accelerate deal closure through a value based selling approach.
  • Demonstratable ability to partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g., marketing, analytics, risk, innovation) and across global regional teams to execute projects in ways that leverage the breadth and depth of Visa's Acceptance resources
  • Demonstratable ability to consult and work closely with a client's C-level executives to present Acceptance Solutions strategic vision and negotiate effectively on behalf of the company
  • Ability to work independently within a complex and competitive environment, to drive rigorous, fact-based recommendations to stakeholders and to juggle multiple initiatives at once
  • Ability to work within a highly matrixed environment to drive sales opportunities forward through a solution focused, client first mindset.
  • Strong sales financial acumen related to deal structures and value to execution to the ecosystem.
  • Experience of managing multiple internal stake holders to deliver commercial goals
  • Ability to drive a collaborative culture with key cross functional stakeholders
  • High level of problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
  • Project management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel regionally if required
