Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Account Manager to lead and manage our strategic manufacturing and retail partnerships. This role is crucial to maintaining and expanding our relationships with key clients in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector. As a Senior Account Manager, you will lead a team of Partnership Managers, ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and that our relationships continue to grow and thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within our strategic manufacturing and retail partners. Serve as the primary point of contact, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and engagement.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Partnership Managers. Provide guidance, support, and professional development to ensure the team meets its targets and delivers outstanding service to our partners.
- Account Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our relationships with existing partners. Work closely with internal teams to deliver innovative solutions that align with client needs and drive mutual business growth.
- Client Retention: Ensure the retention and satisfaction of our key clients through proactive account management, regular communication, and the delivery of value-added services.
- Performance Monitoring: Oversee the performance of the partnership management team, setting and tracking KPIs to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and account performance.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments, including operations, marketing, and supply chain, to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions to our clients.
- Market Insight: Stay informed of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities. Leverage this knowledge to anticipate client needs and position Company Shop Group as a thought leader and trusted partner.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on account performance, market trends, and business opportunities to senior management.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven account management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior role within the FMCG manufacturing sector. Experience in managing retail accounts is highly desirable.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to nurture and grow client relationships. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the FMCG manufacturing and retail sectors, including key challenges, opportunities, and trends.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing client needs and resolving issues.
- Travel: Willingness to travel to meet with clients and attend industry events as required.

Location: Head Office in Tankersley, S75 3DH
Hours: 40 hours per week-Candidates should be able to attend our office three full days per week.
