THE ROLE:
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to support our U.S. Energy and Industrials (E+I) practice focused on consulting clients to ensure they have a license to operate, can navigate the corporate landscape within the changing dynamics of financial markets, reputation, sustainability, talent and innovation. Our clients include many of the world’s largest industrial and energy companies, spanning manufacturing, construction, industrial materials, mining, agribusinesses, and renewable and traditional energy, grids and utilities.

THE WORK:
·Support day-to-day media strategy, including strategy development, pitch angle identification, and reporter engagement. Develop and pitch global, national and regional media, leveraging strong relationships with top-tier and DC outlets (Axios, Politico, WaPo etc.), and manufacturing and sustainability trades
·Organize and oversee a large-scale media monitoring operation with daily and monthly reports to clients
·Assist in the development of client messaging and positioning for corporate, product, thought leadership, executive positioning, CSR and sustainability campaigns
·Manage multiple projects for top-tier clients
·Develop materials that articulate and promote client initiatives and programs
·Generate fresh ideas for programs, events and media outreach that parallel client objectives
·Exercise creativity in account strategy and planning
·Coordinate client events and strategic initiatives
EXPERIENCE THAT CONTRIBUTES TO SUCCESS:
·3-6 years of public relations experience, preferably in an agency or energy/industrials related PR/communications environment
·Strong project management experience, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate independently and as part of a team
·Superb writing and editing skills across a variety of platforms with a keen eye for detail (i.e., experience writing press releases, white papers, op-eds, talking points, social media content, and more)
·Media relations expertise and pitching experience, with the ability to establish and grow media relationships
·Digital & social media savvy with an understanding of how to reach a target audience and drive engagement
·Exceptional time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and work with quality and efficiency
·Professionalism, poise and confidence in client-facing situations such as meetings, internal executive meetings and media events

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $40,000 to $85,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
