About the role

We’re seeking a Senior Account Executive with experience in media relations to join the Corporate team.

This individual will have a strong interest in often complex/high profile issues and supporting clients in navigating such issues and a proven track record in a related environment.

You will be responsible for project managing and other key outputs under the guidance of other team members, as well as playing an active role in the broader smooth running of accounts. The successful will pride themselves on ideas and smart thinking and will be eager to bring new ideas to accounts and the wider practice.

Spotting industry issues and understanding the implications of these is a daily requirement for our clients and we would want any candidate to demonstrate a strong appetite for this alongside an enthusiasm for corporate communications and the media.

Additionally, you will have a willingness and ability to lead monitoring (media) for account teams, build and maintain media relationships, manage suppliers and more. This will be under the guidance of an Account Manager to Account Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Client relationship management – the SAE will ensure solid relationships are established with primary members of the client team by understanding their needs and implanting solutions.
  • Content development – the SAE will be experienced in content development, as well as producing wider forms of communications content such as project proposals and presentations
  • Digital media – demonstrate a strong understanding of the digital media landscape and be able to integrate digital media strategies into all aspects of our work to achieve client objectives

Experience that contributes to your success:

  • An experienced Account Executive or Senior Account Executive ideally with a background working in an agency environment on corporate accounts.
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial with a collegiate, determined, hands-on approach.
  • Driven and keen to work in a fast-paced environment, in a team of like-minded individuals commited to achieving excellence
  • Enthusiasm and warmth of personality that allows and facilitates successful internal relationships
