Our Product team is the beating heart of MYOB. In this role, you will define and drive the product vision and strategy for our Payments team, oversee a small team of product managers, and directly manage key product capabilities to deliver impactful payment solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers and partners.

How you’ll make an impact:
- Develop vision and strategy: Set and communicate a clear, inspiring product vision and strategy for Payments, aligned with MYOB & Flare’s overarching goals.
- Dual leadership role: Lead a small team of product managers while also taking personal responsibility for the success of specific product capabilities within Payments.
- Roadmap and backlog management: Shape and prioritise the product roadmap, user stories, and backlog through user research and ongoing stakeholder engagement.
- End-to-end product development: Oversee the entire product lifecycle from conceptualisation to launch and beyond in a dynamic, agile setting.
- Collaborate across products and business lines: Engage with product managers across Flare and MYOB to ensure alignment on priorities and support a unified approach to product strategy.
- Stakeholder and partner engagement: Manage day-to-day priorities and interactions with partners, ensuring timely project delivery.
- Data and analytics advocacy: Prioritise product data and analytics as fundamental to product development, integrating them into every stage of decision-making.
What we’re looking for
- Experience: extensive tenure in product management, with recent experience in a leadership role, ideally within Payments or Fintech.
- Leadership skills: A strategic yet hands-on leader who excels in inspiring and managing product teams.
- Technical competence: Strong technical acumen and the ability to engage with technical problems.
- Analytical mindset: Skilled in data-driven decision-making, with a focus on leveraging analytics to inform product success.
- Process-oriented: Highly organised, adept at managing competing priorities with a structured, methodical approach.
- Communication skills: Strong communicator capable of articulating product visions and fostering strong stakeholder relationships.
