At Twinkl Scotland, we pride ourselves on creating quality content for all ages and stages of Scottish education. From ELC, through Primary and now into Secondary, we aim to provide content that engages learners and builds a community that supports Scottish educators in getting it right for every child. With such a wide offering of CfE content and a large customer base, we are now looking to introduce a Primary Segment Manager to showcase our Twinkl Scotland products and to further support our Scottish primary teachers. 

To lead our Primary Segment, we are looking for someone with a passion for Scottish education and a vision for growing our online community of primary teachers.  You will work alongside our product teams to ensure we are responding to the needs of Scottish teachers and current educational initiatives. 

You will be responsible for driving the growth of our Primary Segment through outreach marketing. You’ll connect the Scottish teaching community with the Twinkl Scotland website via specified marketing channels (social media, email, blog, webinars, podcasts) that you will work on daily. You will highlight and demonstrate the benefits of our Twinkl products and support educators through those marketing channels in order to grow and support our Primary Segment

You’ll be joining a hard-working team of Scotland-based Twinkl team members with additional support from Twinkl HQ in the U.K. 

We are looking for a primary teacher with Curriculum for Excellence experience who is confident with the use of social media  and understands how to use this expertise to engage with our market. You will be comfortable on camera/audio as you connect with your customers through live and prerecorded videos and podcasts. 

Responsibilities & Key Performance Indicators:

  • Build thriving social media communities for Scottish primary teachers that hit specific growth, reach, and engagement targets each month.
  • Write and publish an engaging traffic-generating blog/video/podcast/webinar each week that is highly relevant to your segment and generates clicks to the Twinkl website. 
  • Create an engaging weekly email (newsletter) for your segment that informs, empowers, and connects them to the Twinkl website.
  • Increase new customer subscriptions and hit specified revenue targets through the growth marketing actions outlined above. 

This exciting, fast-paced role involves strategic planning and reactive work as you respond to the needs of your customer base.

  • Scotland Country Manager
  • Scotland ELC, ASN and Secondary Segment Managers
  • Scottish Marketing assistants
  • Scottish Product teams 
  • Twinkl members!

Requirements

To succeed in the role, you will have the following skillset:

  • Minimum of  three years CfE teaching  experience.
  • Social media savviness - Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn - you must love social media and feel confident running multiple channels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Up-to-date tech skills  
  • A commercial thinker who is comfortable taking calculated risks and being held accountable for successes and failures.
  • Ability to communicate ideas and motivate those around them.
