Security Operations Lead - Major Events

As the Security Operations Lead with Control Risks, you will be directly support a Fortune 500 client of ours, helping to implement and oversee security measures during major events. This position will support the client's efforts to prepare for major global events to ensure the safety and security of the company's people and assets.

This position will require the candidate to be based in the Southeast United States.

  • Execute security programs effectively, focusing on business continuity, risk mitigation, and high-order threat resolution support.
  • Offer expert advice and training on information loss prevention, kidnapping avoidance, promotional integrity, and workplace violence.
  • Coordinate with domestic and international law enforcement agencies, embassies, and private sector companies for immediate or future support.
  • Protect assets by implementing robust security measures and tactical response plans.
  • Evaluate the asset protection needs of operating units through field data collection and personnel interviews.
  • Resolve critical security incidents using established security and law enforcement methodologies.
  • Investigate financial integrity cases, apply investigative techniques, and report findings accurately.
  • Train and validate teams for The Client's Incident Management & Crisis Resolution system and support Code of Business Conduct investigations when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience required.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in security management within a global business environment.
  • Established partnerships with law enforcement and international security organizations, with a proven track record of strategic liaison building.
  • Ability to develop strategies against evolving threats, leveraging lessons learned to enhance system response capabilities.
  • Capable of providing security advice and counsel to the global enterprise and liaising with senior country leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to enforce policies tactfully, conduct investigative research, and generate incident-specific security assessments.
