Title: Security Manager

Location: This position will be supporting the Northeast Region

Job Type: Full-Time / Exempt

About the Role:  The Security Manager oversees and maintains all day-to-day operations of security and delivery operations across the State at the guidance and direction of the Security Director and GM. Leadership and supervision extend to all personnel responsible for safety and security of all sites as well as efficient transport between sites and to patient homes. The Security Manager must monitor and maintain all operations-based activities in accordance with the state regulations and standards set by the company.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Full oversight of all security, safety, and delivery transport operations for all sites at the direction of the Director.
  • Manage day to day resource planning and scheduling of all department personnel ensuring full coverage for all required smooth operations.
  • Recruit new talent for the department as required and complete coaching and performance-based management for existing staff.
  • Liaison with all SMEs from Cultivation, Manufacturing, Operations, and Dispensary departments.
  • Work with QA/QC to develop and oversee all applicable training programs for the department
  • Track all Department KPIs (focusing on safety, quality, and productivity).
  • Any and all additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by Department Head and/or Leadership.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 6+ years’ experience in Law Enforcement and/or Public Safety.
  • Departmental operations or store start-up experience preferred
  • Solid business and financial acumen and reporting skills
  • 3+ years of direct personnel leadership and management experience (with a demonstration of knowledge and skills)
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
  • Current Driver’s license required.
