Security Management Specialist for Vulnerability Managegement (REF3474Z)

We are seeking a Security Management Specialist with experience in vulnerability management. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and implementing various scans across different platforms and hosts. The Specialist will also be tasked with reporting and tracking findings, and consulting with other departments and customers regarding vulnerabilities.

Basic knowledge with MS Purview, Qualys, or similar technologies is required, as well as a current understanding of general risks and vulnerabilities. The role involves supporting teams to ensure compliance with security requirements, necessitating experience in project assessment and governance.

We seek an individual who is proactive in researching and integrating new technologies and adapting best practices to benefit our organization. The ability to effectively collaborate with the team to achieve objectives and resolve issues is essential to our team culture.

Tasks:

  • Plans, schedules, implements, and maintains scalable vulnerability scans using modern vulnerability management scanning tools for high complexity devices.
  • While ensuring safe and timely scanning that has minimal/no impact on scan targets, provides troubleshooting of technical issues with scans.
  • Supports vulnerability management scanning and reporting tools.
  • Conducts internal vulnerability audits of servers, network devices, applications, and other devices.
  • Interfaces with internal and external auditors, providing detailed information on remediation efforts.
  • Conducts data analysis of vulnerability management data, often integrated with other data sources, to measure effectiveness of vulnerability remediation.
  • Escalates as appropriate

 

  • You have a technical education in the field of computer science
  • You are passionate about cybersecurity – you follow the latest attack methods, vulnerabilities and their detection
  • You are customer-oriented, communicative and solution-oriented
  • You enjoy working in dynamic teams and are willing to take responsibility for solving tasks independently
  • We expect a certain willingness to travel
  • ITIL knowledge
  • Expereince with ticketing tools like SM9, SNOW
  • German language minimum B2

    Advantages
  • University degree of computer science or cybersecurity
  • Certifications: ISO 27001 LA, CISM, CISA
  • professional experience in the field of security consulting, SOC or CDC are an advantage
