This position is responsible for patrolling the premises and buildings to detect suspicious activity and ensure the safety of employees.
- Maintain safe environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
- Inspect and adjust security systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure operational use and to detect evidence of tampering.
- Monitor the electronic surveillance equipment used on the premises.
- Ensure all Alarm Systems are operational all the time.
- Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
- Protect property and lives by patrolling the area.
- Monitor entrance of property through surveillance.
- Identify visitors and ask for appropriate documents.
- Guard against theft and maintain security.
- Respond to alarms and calls of distress.
- Stop suspicious people and ask for identification.
- Call for aid if necessary.
- Maintain all emergency phone numbers, call police if security threat.
- Prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
- Check purses, pockets, and bags for suspicious items.
- Remove weapons and stow away for later retrieval.
- Regulate and monitor building alarm systems.
- Inspect windows and doors to ensure locks are in place and working.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
Requirements
- High School or Diplom
- Preferable 0-1 Years in Field Work.
