The Security Delivery Manager will oversee the delivery and implementation of cybersecurity solutions and services within the organisation. This role involves managing security projects, ensuring operational effectiveness, and aligning security initiatives with business objectives. The Security Delivery Manager collaborates closely with platform, product, development, and enterprise IT teams to integrate and manage security solutions effectively. 

Key responsibilities:  

  • Lead and manage cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget. 
  • Oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring ongoing effectiveness and alignment with business requirements. 
  • Manage and develop a team of security professionals, providing guidance and support. 
  • Work closely with cybersecurity, IT, and business teams to integrate security solutions and align with organisational goals. 
  • Manage relationships with security vendors and service providers to ensure the quality and effectiveness of their products and services. 
  • Identify, assess, and manage security risks, developing mitigation strategies. 
  • Ensure security solutions comply with relevant regulations and standards, such as NIST, ISO, PCI/DSS, SOX, and GDPR. 
  • Oversee the response to security incidents, ensuring effective management and incorporating lessons learned. 
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of security projects, operational effectiveness, and risk management activities. 
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders, advising on security risks and solutions to align with business objectives. 

Essential competencies: 

  • Strong skills in managing complex security projects. 
  • Deep understanding of security operations and management of security solutions. 
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a team of security professionals. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement. 
  • Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and managing security risks. 

Preferred skills : 

  • Expertise in security technologies such as SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption solutions. 
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL. 
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and standards including NIST, ISO, PCI/DSS, SOX, and GDPR. 
  • Experience in managing security vendors and service providers.
